Choosing the right badge for your needs

A wide range of manufacturing processes are available to suit your finish and budget requirements.

Hard Enamel
This is the traditional manufacturing method of badgemaking. Each enamel colour is oven baked at high temperature, air dried and then hand polished.

Although it is the most time consuming method, it produces the highest quality badge.

Imitation Hard Enamel
This manufacturing process results in a badge that has a similar appearance to hard enamel, yet is less time consuming to produce.

Imitation Hard Enamel badges are perfect for customers with a smaller budget who do not require the quality finish of hard enamel.

Soft Enamel Epoxy
The soft enamel is baked at lower temperatures than hard enamel and does not require polishing.

Due to its softness, the enamel can be easily scratched or damaged. An epoxy protective coating is required to ensure durability.

Photoetch
This manufacturing process has the appearance of Soft Enamel Epoxy, yet can be incorporated onto a thinner base material.

Perfect for badges that need to be thin.

Enamel Silkscreen
When you have artwork with a wide range of colours or fine details, this is the perfect manufacturing method.
